Can you explain the application process?

There are four simple ways to get started. 

  1. If you prefer in-person help, visit a retailer that offers Acima Leasing, where you can walk through the application process.  
  2. For the tech-savvy shopper, dive into our marketplace where you can explore various online stores offering Acima Leasing as a purchase option. With just a few steps, you can initiate your application and, if approved, be on your way to leasing your desired items. 
  3. Our Acima Leasing app is here to ease your experience even further. Accessible via the App Store or our website, you can walk through the application process at your own pace, anytime, anywhere. 

What do you need to fill out an application?

Whichever way you choose to fill out your application, you’ll need three items to complete the process: 

  • An active checking account with at least $750 of income per month 
  • Three months of income history with your current source of income 
  • Government-issued photo ID and a Social Security number or taxpayer identification number 

How long are lease agreements with Acima Leasing?

We offer a range of options tailored to fit your needs and preferences. The period to ownership varies depending on the items you select and the lease agreement offered to you. Typically, you'll have the opportunity to own the merchandise in 12 months if you choose to make all lease renewal payments as outlined in your agreement. You may also see lease periods of 18 to 24 months with select retailer partners.

What are early purchase options?

You are not automatically enrolled in these, but our team is available to discuss any questions you may have regarding the options available to you and to help you set up one should you choose to do so. The first option is available within the initial 90 days of the lease agreement (3 months in California), allowing for earlier ownership. After this window, the second early purchase option provides a discount based on the remaining lease renewal payments.
